Hi Chris, I'd guess it's somewhere in the vicinity of Westfield in Oct 1946. If you check Shoreliner Vol 31, Issue 1, pgs 8 & 9, you'll see 958 supporting an excursion. There does appear to be a steam engine on the other end of the train in your photo.
