I really like the composition of these photos! Do you have any concerns that the vibrancy of the photos competes with the foreground scenery? Or perhaps that is addressed by a later phase? Great work though!
Hey Adam and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! Short answer is that I haven't been all that concerned in the past re vibrancy since all my previous backdrop photos have been naturally a little fuzzy/diffuse. But now that you mention it, the one at Church Street in Wethersfield may be a little too vibrant. Eek! I'll give it some more thought and another look - it'll likely "drop into the background" after foreground scenery is applied. But it's also just tacked up for now, so I can redo it if necessary. Hmmmm.... more thinking required. Of course, it's the gap I've been trying to finish for 8 yrs now! %^)
That makes sense, that with more foreground the vibrancy might stand out less, or even balance out perfectly. I'm keeping an eye on your work as I idly contemplate my own future path – I only have basic blue backdrop paint up now. Thanks, Chris!
